Senior Tax Manager Role Description

As a Senior Tax Manager at Hall CPA, you are responsible for delivering high quality advisory and tax returns, the happiness of the client, and the development of your team. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing clients and people, and can elevate everyone around them.

Salary: Starting at $160,000

Areas of Responsibility

  • Mentor and develop members of your team, improving technical skills and work quality
  • Provide advisory services to clients and maintain strong client relationships by managing their expectations, being responsive to their communications/emails
  • Conduct final technical reviews of tax returns and documents for individuals, partnerships, s-corporations, trusts, and corporations, including signing tax returns
  • Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Stay up to date on changes in tax laws and procedures
  • Lead the planning, organization, and coordination of client engagements to meet all deadlines
  • Identify areas to improve company processes and remove barriers to efficiency, enhancing client and employee experience
  • Recommend other firm services to the benefit of the client. Ex: bookkeeping services, tax advisory etc.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
  • CPA certification
  • Experience with real estate tax matters and multi-state tax returns
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience
